How to Become a Christian |
|
The Problem - All men are sinners when measured against the standard of a Holy God.
The Promise - And lo, He will be with us always, even to the end of age.
The Predicament - There is nothing a person can do to earn or merit forgiveness and a right standing before a Holy God.
The Penalty - Sin demands a penalty, and the penalty is a physical death (where the soul is separated from the body).
The Provision - God loves us so much that He provided Jesus Christ, His Son, to take our place on the cross and pay the penalty for out sins.
The Pardon - God, in grace, is freely giving eternal life to every person who received forgiveness for his or her sins through Jesus Christ
The Process - A person must turn to the risen Lord Jesus Christ is Faith, trust in him alone, apart from a human merit, to deliver them from their sins and bring them into a relationship with God.
